Change management

Change management initiatives demand strategic planning and gap analysis.

According to CMC (2016), 95% of employees state that their company live excessive changes and only 19% of them reported that their company was successful in implementing change. Many initiatives focus on the technical aspects of the change (new processes, new technology, agendas, communication plans, choosing the right ambassadors, etc.)

The heart of successful change is dealing with human resistance, comfort levels and the individual resilience of every person involved. As a manager and leader, awareness in change of behavior is key to facilitate and welcome the new initiative.

Useful change management tips

Step 1: Can you answer the WHY of the change?

Step 2: Are you present of your own resistance to the change?

Step 3: Are you connected to your team’s adaptability/reactivity to the change?

Step 4: How will you train and coach your people and maximize the learning curb?
